The Silo series is a collection of written works by Hugh Howey. Set in a post-apocalyptic future where thousands of people live in an underground silo, the novels chart the lives of some of the residents. The series started in 2011 with the short story "Wool", self-published by Howey using Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing system.
